Here we have Peter an avid model railway enthusiast and model train collector and his wife Marlene who is not an avid fan of trains and refuses to allow Peter to take over the lounge with his addiction, unfortunately Peter has a debilitating disease which means he is unable most days to climb the stairs to the spare bedroom where his beloved trains live. After installing their new stairlift however, Peter can now happily access and take care of his railway whenever he likes as well as entertaining the grandchildren, giving his long-suffering wife Marlene the break and rest she so rightly deserves.
