Here at Direct Stairlifts Ltd. we are offering the same superior services as always but with more stringent guidelines for social distancing, reducing the need for direct contact between our installers and customers.

 

Should you need or wish to contact us for any reason this should be done either by telephone or online.

We will assess whether or not you need a visit from a team member or whether your query can be dealt with in a virtual manner.

Should it be necessary for a member of our team to visit you in your home please be assured that they will adhere to government guidelines in respect of health and safety and hygiene policies, these will include but are not limited to:-

Observing social distancing – keeping the minimum required 6 feet distance if someone needs to be in the same area.

No handshakes or contact of any kind.

Regular hand washing and sanitising as well as wearing disposable single use gloves and facemasks at all times.

Sanitising all equipment before entering and leaving each property.

Any staff members who have exhibited any symptoms have been sent home to self-isolate.

Existing Stairlift Owners

You can continue to contact us either by phone, email or through our website with any queries or questions you may have.  If you need to report a fault this can usually be dealt with remotely via the digital diagnostic display which is a standard feature of all Direct Stairlifts Ltd. products.
In most cases we will not need to send an engineer to your home.
Should it be necessary for an engineer to visit to carry out a repair, they will be observing health and safety and hygiene policies as detailed above.  They will not be in your home for longer than is absolutely necessary and will observe social distancing guidelines where it is not possible for you to be in a separate area of your home.

We may need some basic measurements and pictures of your staircase, enabling us to determine what model of stairlift you will require. Our stairlift expert will talk you through the process in a clear, step-by-step manner. By the end we should have a full understanding of your needs and the best stairlift for you.
